Amelia Ame is an Illustrator, a Tattoo artist, Jewellery designer and model.

Born in Belgium, Amelia grew up living in various countries. From Egypt as a baby, Morocco when she was a teenager and Belgium. These first experiences abroad created a deep fascination for the world and an interest to learn about other cultures.

Her passion for Art started at a very young age, from drawing and painting then developing into her life’s calling.

She started her artistic career by studying Jewellery Arts and Goldsmithing in Toronto for three years.
After working in the jewellery industry for six years, in Canada then in Luxembourg, she decided to embark on a new life’s path and to realize one of her dreams: to live in Japan.

That decision was life-changing and soul-reconnecting.

Her journey in Japan was a journey of growth, spirituality and transformation. Embracing a new version of herself, she started learning new skills, immersing herself into a new culture and new way of life.
In Japan, she had the chance to live in a temple, in Nagano, where spirituality, community and art collide. Through this unique experience, she encountered many artists, made friends, and started realigning with her spiritual side. While in Japan, she did modelling projects with various artists and designers.

As the universe’s plan is full of mysteries and surprises, after nine months in Japan, life took her on a new adventure.

She went to Bali, to Malaysia then unexpectedly arrived in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

In Chiang Mai, a completely new chapter of her life started and she welcomed this new journey with an open heart.
Like in Japan, in Chiang Mai she felt a deep soul connection to the place, its people, the spiritual energies and traditions. Embracing yet again a new path, she followed her passion and learned a new art form: Tattooing.
Connecting with the souls of the city’s inhabitant, developing new talents, and taking on creative artworks; Amelia has been creating a new life where she feels at home, focusing on what makes her heart happy and peaceful.
In Chiang Mai, she feels a sense of harmony, creative and loving energy as well as humanity.

Grateful for everything, her journey and the present, she aims to continue creating and growing as an artist, to keep exploring the world, connecting with people and to remain curious in life.
